Students who are co-authors of accepted RECOMB papers (prioritized — poster presenters generally not funded)

Amount: Overseas: up to $1,000 USD; Europe (excl. Poland): up to $500 USD; Poland: up to 1,000 PLN; covers conference registration, travel, and lodging

Deadline: Per call (typically late January, 2-3 weeks after author notification)

Students/postdocs who co-authored accepted papers; priority to junior researchers presenting their papers at RECOMB.

SOT Graduate Student Travel Support
SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo (Society of Toxicology) United States

Amount: Funding amount determined annually by the SOT Awards Committee; priority to those with the least other support

Deadline: Award application deadline in early-to-mid October; abstract must be submitted by October 9 to generate the required abstract Control ID (abstract deadline itself is November 13)

PhD candidates in toxicology at the time of the Annual Meeting (graduation date must fall after the meeting); SOT Student member or membership application pending as of September 30 of the preceding year; abstract submitted and accepted.

SOT Undergraduate Development Program (UDP) Student Travel Award

Amount: Travel and lodging to attend the three-day Undergraduate Development Program

Deadline: Tied to the UDP cycle (2026 programme ran March 21-23, 2026)

Undergraduate and graduate students, and persons in the first year of a formal postbaccalaureate research position, who are underrepresented in science. For students not yet at the stage of submitting an abstract.
