US$1,000 cash + up to US$1,000 travel support, plus invitation to present a poster at the 2027 Congress and submit a review to Pure and Applied Chemistry

  • Up to $2,500 CAD (paid after the conference against receipts)
Eligibility

Canadian chemist within 10 years of PhD, working at a Canadian institution, presenting at an IUPAC-sponsored conference. Only one award per career.

Deadline

Application closed 15 February 2026 for the 2027 Congress (cycle repeats biennially — expect January 2028 for the 2029 Congress)

  • September 15 of the year before the conference (e.g., Sept 15, 2026 for 2027 Congress travel)
Application Requirements

Single PDF: short CV (≤5 pages), two reference letters (one from outside the applicant's institution), cover letter with conference name/location/circular.
