We are dedicated to supporting Indigenous trainees in developing essential bioinformatics skills. Bioinformatics technologies enable researchers to generate large-scale data with the potential to impact knowledge, understanding, and actions throughout Canada and globally. Increasing support for data science and bioinformatics training and networking of Indigenous scientists is a high priority to empower future generations of researchers for success.
